Topton

Topton is a little, and i mean very little town near trexlertown. Apparently the velodrome has bought or rented some property here and many of the out of town riders are housed here in this apartment complex where i am staying. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a living room and a kitchen is the set up. Lots of cyclist with bikes everywhere, endless piles of bags, clothes, wheels, tires, etc. Guys with biker tan lines on computer staying in touch or just laying around in bed or on the couch when not on the bike. It is hot and muggy here right now, but actually quite relaxing. Yesterday's ride was an easy spin out after the long car ride and was very enjoyable as the evening breeze rolled in and you could hear nothing but the wheels spinning on the road in a gorgeous farmland area. Today's plans are to ride in a local training crit this evening and then maybe hit the track for a while. Well i'm off to be a bike bum...a nap is sounding really good right about now and i'm going to go lay down!
